The university will check if you meet the requirements set out in this article for admission, enrollment, and attending the course. Candidates who don’t have the proper qualifications according to current regulations will lose their enrollment.
Art. 3
Terms and methods for registering for the entrance test
To take part in the competition, it is necessary to:
1. register for the admission test by 1:00 PM on October 23, 2026;
2. pay the participation fee of €150.00 by the same deadline.
Candidates who meet the requirements listed in Art. 2 must submit the application exclusively online by accessing the GOMP student portal available at the following link:
https://unineuromed-studenti.gomp.it/.
On the student portal, candidates must first register (click the “REGISTER” button) and then, using the credentials (username and password) provided at the end of registration, complete the registration procedure for the competition announcement of interest (depending on the relevant category) following the instructions given in the “guide to submitting the admission application” published on the website.
The online registration procedure for the admission test on the GOMP portal will be active from September 28, 2026, and will close at 1:00 PM on October 23, 2026.
Please note that during registration on the GOMP student portal, the new user is also required to accept the privacy policy.
The candidate is responsible for the information provided when filling out the registration form in every part.
Once the application for the selection is confirmed, it cannot be modified or supplemented with additional documents: therefore, it is recommended to carefully check the uploaded documents before submitting the application. Providing false and/or incorrect information or omitting necessary information will result in exclusion from the selection process, or, if you pass the test, removal from the list of admitted students for the course.
The fee for participating in the admission test is non-refundable under any circumstances, even if you don’t attend the test – no matter the reason.
The participation fee must be paid when submitting the application directly on the GOMP portal by going to the Fees and Contributions > Payments section (via PagoPA).
Your application is only considered complete once the fee has been paid, which must be done by the deadline indicated in this article. Applications submitted on time but without the fee, or with payment received after the deadline, won’t be considered at all, and the candidate will be excluded from the list of those admitted to the test.
At the end of the registration process, the system will issue a submission number (unique code) that the applicant must keep, as it will be needed to check their ranking when the admission test results are published (art. 11 of the announcement).
Applications received after the deadline and/or incomplete and/or containing incorrect information will NOT be considered.
By submitting the application for the selection process, the applicant authorizes UniNeuromed to carry out checks with the institutions and authorities that issued or validated the declared qualifications.
Candidates are reminded that anyone who makes false statements, creates false documents, or uses them is subject to penalties, including criminal ones, as provided by current law (Art. 76 of Presidential Decree No. 445/2000).
Requests for technical assistance or reports of technical issues encountered during the online registration process for the exam must be sent exclusively via e-mail to ufficioinformatico@unineuromed.it.
Requests and reports will only be addressed if received within the deadlines indicated in this article for completing the procedure. Requests received after these deadlines or sent to different institutional addresses of the University will not be considered.
Art. 4
Candidates with disabilities, impairments, and with a diagnosis of SLD
The entrance test is organized taking into account the individual needs of candidates with disabilities or impairments in accordance with art. 16 of law no. 104/1992, as well as candidates with a diagnosis of specific learning disorders (SLD) under law no. 170/2010.
Candidates with disabilities and impairments according to law no. 104/1992, and candidates with a diagnosis of SLD who need specific aids or compensatory measures to take the test, as well as extra time, must explicitly request them in the online application form for the competition before submitting it, by filling out the dedicated fields and attaching documentation specifying the essential details regarding the requested benefits, so that the University can provide the tools and measures to ensure proper participation in the test.
Candidates with special educational needs (SEN) are excluded from this case.
The University reserves the right to verify what the candidate has certified and commits to informing the candidate in time regarding the aids granted for taking the test.
A candidate with a disability or impairment who provides, within the terms mentioned in the previous Article 3, the certification issued by the locally competent medical commission proving the type of disability and/or the recognized degree of handicap is entitled to extra time not exceeding 50% more than the time provided to complete the test under the following Article 5.
If the candidate with a disability or impairment requires additional aids, they must explicitly request them in the appropriate section of the online competition application.
It is specified that in any case:
- the enlarged format questionnaire is assigned only for disabilities affecting vision;
- the assignment of a transcriber or reading tutor is subject to evaluation based on the certification provided.
Candidates with a diagnosis of SLD (Specific Learning Disorder) who wish to request aids and/or extra time must provide, within the deadlines of the previous art. 3, an SLD certification issued - no more than 3 years before the publication date of this announcement or after the age of eighteen - by NHS facilities or by entities and professionals accredited with the regional health service. This certification must clearly state the diagnostic summary and the relevant nosographic codes for the specific certified disorder.
Candidates diagnosed with SLD are allowed extra time, up to a maximum of 30% more than the time set for completing the test according to Article 5 below.
If additional aids are needed, candidates with an SLD diagnosis must explicitly request them in the designated field within the online competition application.
In any case, based on the provided certification, the following compensatory tools may be allowed:
- A non-scientific calculator, only for learning disorders related to the area of calculation or if specifically prescribed in the diagnosis: in this case, the candidate may be allowed to use their own physical calculator; alternatively, they may be allowed to use the one available on the platform;
- A reading tutor assigned by the University or provided by an external company, only in cases of particularly severe specific reading disorders.
Art. 5
Content of the Test and Evaluation Criteria
The selection test will be held in English and consists of a written multiple-choice test. The test has 60 questions (in English), each with five answer options, and the candidate must choose only one, discarding incorrect, arbitrary, or less likely conclusions.
Based on the programs listed in Annex A, the following are prepared:
- four (4) questions on reading skills and knowledge gained during studies;
- five (5) questions on logical reasoning and problem-solving;
- twenty-three (23) questions on biology;
- fifteen (15) questions on chemistry;
- thirteen (13) questions on physics and mathematics.
For taking the selection test, a time of 100 (one hundred) minutes is assigned.
The test is scored with a maximum of 90 (ninety) points according to the following criteria:
• 1.5 points for each correct answer;
• minus 0.25 (-0.25) points for each wrong answer;
• 0 points for each unanswered question.
Art. 6
How the test will be held
The entrance test will be held online, home-based, from a workstation used by the candidate and through a remote monitoring platform on October 30, 2026.
UniNeuromed reserves the right to schedule additional sessions, change the dates, times, methods of administration, and locations of the admission test, as well as the dates for publishing the results, if necessary for organizational reasons and/or by ministerial directive, notifying all candidates through specific announcements that will be properly publicized on the University’s website.
If the test date is postponed, as long as this postponement is decided before the registration deadline for the test mentioned in the previous Article 3, the University reserves the right to extend the deadlines for submitting applications and, if deemed useful, to adjust the other dates set out in this notice accordingly.
For the preparation of the admission test and all operations related to carrying out the selection test, UniNeuromed relies on an external company appointed on the basis of a specific mandate from the University. The staff supervising this admission procedure will be chosen from the company's personnel and will take care, among other things, of identifying the candidates and supervising during the test.
Art. 7
General Guidelines for Taking the Test
The test will be delivered via a platform that allows remote monitoring, both live (in real time with supervision of the activities by proctors) and through review of the tests (audio-video recording of all stages of the procedure).
The room available to the candidate must be isolated, quiet, and have only one door, which must remain closed for the entire duration of the procedure.
The candidate's workstation must be free of any objects.
The candidate must connect the smartphone to a power outlet and position it sideways so that it can always effectively capture the workspace: if the webcam is not positioned correctly, the candidate may face suspension of the test until the conditions necessary for the proctor to properly monitor the exam are restored. If the correct conditions are not restored, the test may be permanently stopped and the candidate will be excluded from the competition.
To take the test, the candidate must have:
a) 1 PC (Windows 8 or later, or LINUX) or MAC (MAC-OS 10.14 or later) with a webcam and microphone, and mandatory use of GOOGLE CHROME (min.version 81.0) as a browser;
b) Internet connectivity with minimum upload and download speeds of 1.5 Mbps;
c) 1 smartphone or tablet (Android min v.4.1 – iOS min. v.8) with a camera, on which to download an app.
The tablet can only be used as a substitute for the smartphone, not for the PC (or Mac). Using Wi-Fi is also recommended.
The candidate will be asked via a specific email to download an app on their smartphone/tablet (34MB) from Google Play or the App Store (depending on whether they are using an Android or iOS smartphone).
Candidates are required to check the quality and consistency of the signal from the location where they will take the test and, in any case, the environment in which the location is situated.
The Commission can exclude a candidate at any time if any malfunctions in the connection signal make it impossible to monitor the private environment where the test is taking place.
Any reception signal malfunction that occurs during the test and affects its execution, in whole or in part, will be the sole responsibility of the candidate.
Therefore, the candidate is personally responsible for the quality and continuity of the incoming and outgoing signal from their workstation and isolated room.
In the days leading up to the test and after the registration deadline for the test mentioned in the previous article 3, the candidate will receive instructions from convocazioni@ilmiotest.it at the email address used during the registration of personal data on how to take the test, including specific instructions to follow for checking technical requirements.
If no message is received from convocazioni@ilmiotest.it, it is a good idea to check that the message has not ended up in the spam folder. If it’s also not in the spam folder, you will need to report the issue exclusively to convocazioni@ilmiotest.it and request a new email be sent.
The email sent from the address convocazioni@ilmiotest.it will contain instructions on how to perform the “check requirements,” that is, the verification of technical requirements.
Specifically, the candidate will need to:
• install the Proctor Exam plugin for Google Chrome, which is necessary to ensure video monitoring during the test;
• install the ProctorExam app on their smartphone (or tablet), which will be used during the test.
The candidate will need to follow the procedure to test the proper setup and functioning of:
• PC/Mac audio and microphone;
• PC/Mac webcam;
• smartphone/tablet webcam;
• internet connection.
At the end of the “check requirements,” the candidate will receive a second email from convocazioni@ilmiotest.it with the link to access the test, including the date and time of the appointment.
The scheduled time must be strictly observed in order to avoid slowing down the identification operations preceding the exam.
The candidate is required to carefully preserve the data contained in this last email, as it also provides instructions and credentials to view their test, which will be made available after the publication of the admission test results on the University’s official website.
Please note that if the candidate undergoes the checks using a workstation with technical specifications below the minimum requirements indicated in this call, passing this phase does not guarantee being able to take the exam without the required equipment.
Art.8
Conduct of the Entrance Test
On the day of the exam, prior to the start of the test, the procedure includes setting up and connecting the devices already verified during the "check requirements" phase, followed by filming the workstation and the surrounding environment where the exam takes place.
Subsequently, the candidate must plug their smartphone into a power outlet and place it laterally so that it can continuously frame both the working area and the surrounding environment.
During the identification procedure, the candidate must:
Show a valid identity document via the PC webcam and take a picture of it;
Take a picture of their face inside an outline frame;
Send both photos, which will be acquired by the platform.
After identification, and only if the checks are successful, the candidate will be able to access the link to the exam test and will have the necessary time to read the operational instructions. The candidate must then remain waiting until the start of the test. The duration of the waiting time depends on the progress of the identification operations of all invited candidates.
Candidates who connect after the closure of the identification phase for any reason, or who lack a valid identity document, will not be admitted to the test.
Candidates who are absent after the end of the identification procedures will be considered to have tacitly withdrawn.
As soon as the Examination Committee authorizes the start of the test, the "Start test" button will appear on the left side of the screen.
Only at that moment, by clicking on the button, will the candidate begin the test.
At the end of the test, the candidate must click the "Close test" button and log out.
Once back on the home page, the candidate must click the blue button in the upper right corner, "Finish Exam".
The use and consultation of other applications, browsers, or web pages are not allowed: therefore, it is necessary to close all web pages and any running programs. On the contrary, the platform pages must remain open at all times.
In case of technical issues, the candidate may contact the live chat with the Proctor and technical support at any time.
During the test, candidates may exclusively use their own PC/Mac without the aid of additional screens, keyboards, or mice.
Subject to verification by the remote proctor during the identification phase, the use of two blank sheets of paper and a pen to perform calculations is permitted.
The procedure set forth in this call for applications will take place online and will be recorded by the platform: upon completion of the test, the Committee will have access to the videos, including for disciplinary purposes in case of violation of the established rules.
Art. 9
Grounds for Exclusion from the Test
Under penalty of exclusion from the test, candidates are required to comply with the following provisions:
The room must be adequately illuminated;
The use of earphones or other technological devices such as smartphones, smartwatches, calculators, or glasses equipped with video cameras or cameras is not allowed;
The use or consultation of other applications, browsers, or web pages is not allowed;
The use or consultation of books, notes, or handouts is not allowed;
No person other than the candidate is allowed in the room;
Speaking or interacting with other people is not allowed;
Leaving the room for any reason, including personal/physiological needs, is not allowed;
The use of earplugs is not allowed.
Violation of the above provisions will result in the invalidation of the test.
Art. 10
Committee for Ensuring the Regularity of Selection Procedures
By specific decree, a University Committee will be appointed to ensure the regular and correct conduct of the selection procedures.
Art. 11
Publication of Admission Test Results
The results of the admission test will be published on the University website by November 6, 2026.
Candidates can check their position using the submission number issued by the GOMP student portal at the time of registration for the test (Art. 2 of this call).
The merit ranking list, drawn up in compliance with the principles of impartiality, transparency, and equal treatment, is formulated based on the score obtained by candidates in the admission test, according to the evaluation criteria and score allocation methods set out in Art. 5 above.
Only candidates who score a minimum of at least 10% of the maximum score expected (90) in the test are eligible for admission to the Single-Cycle Master's Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery; non-eligible candidates will not be included in the ranking.
In the event of a tie score, the following criteria apply:
The score obtained by the candidate in solving questions related to the following subjects prevails in descending order: biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics, logical reasoning and problem solving, and reading comprehension and knowledge acquired in studies;
In the event of a further tie, the younger candidate prevails.
Within the limit of available places for enrollment, EU candidates and non-EU candidates referred to in Article 26 of Law no. 189/2002, as well as non-EU candidates residing abroad within their respective reserved places quota, who are successfully positioned in their respective rankings, are admitted to the Single-Cycle Master's Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery (LM-41).
Candidates positioned within the limit of available places specified in this call will be status "admitted" (ammessi).
Candidates placed in positions after the last available place for admission will be considered "eligible non-admitted" (idonei non ammessi): eligible candidates can acquire the right to admission exclusively if ranking update procedure (scorrimento) is activated, pursuant to the subsequent Art. 12. In that case, the "eligible" status will be converted to "admitted".
The publication of admission test results and all ranking update notices on the University website serves as official notification to all interested parties: any personal communications that may be sent to the email addresses provided by candidates during registration serve merely to assist them in following the selection process, but are in no way a substitute for notices published on the website, which represents the University’s sole official communication tool.
Therefore, it remains the candidate's responsibility to check their position on the website and take action according to the methods and deadlines required for enrollment, as indicated in Art. 12 of this call.
Art. 12
Enrollment and Ranking Update Procedures
Starting from the publication of the ranking and until 1:00 PM on November 19, 2026, candidates admitted to the Single-Cycle Master's Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery (LM-41) must complete online enrollment following the instructions published on the University website.
The enrollment procedure requires the University to acquire the following documentation:
Application for enrollment;
Digital photograph;
Valid identity document and tax code (Codice Fiscale) and, for non-EU citizens legally residing in Italy, a valid residence permit;
Self-certification pursuant to D.P.R. no. 445/2000 certifying possession of a high school diploma;

Non-EU candidates residing abroad must complete enrollment only after the issuance of the relevant visa by the competent Italian diplomatic-consular representation.
Subsequent tuition fee installments scheduled for A.Y. 2026/2027 must be paid by the following deadlines:
2nd installment of €5,500.00 (five thousand five hundred euros/00) by January 29, 2027;
3rd installment of €5,500.00 (five thousand five hundred euros/00) by April 30, 2027.
For information regarding exemptions and financial aid, refer to the Student Tuition Regulations for the academic year in question on the University website at: www.unineuromed.it/.
Admitted candidates who do not complete enrollment within the specified deadlines and procedures will be considered to have tacitly withdrawn.
Any remaining unfilled places resulting from withdrawals or failed enrollments will be managed according to the following ranking update procedure (scorrimento):
Publication of a specific ranking update notice on the website;
Candidates admitted following a ranking update must proceed with enrollment and payment as specified in this article by 1:00 PM on the third working day following the publication of the notice;
The ranking update procedure will be repeated until all available places are filled.
The University reserves the right to modify enrollment procedures and deadlines if necessary for organizational and/or regulatory reasons, giving prompt notification to candidates through official notices on the University website.
EU and non-EU students holding foreign qualifications must submit documentation to the Student Secretariat proving Italian recognition of their qualification. Accepted documents include:
Verification and/or comparability certificates issued by CIMEA accompanied by an official translation into Italian or English; or alternatively:
Declaration of Value (Dichiarazione di Valore) issued by the Italian Embassy or Consulate General competent for the territory in the country where the qualification was awarded, along with an official translation into Italian or English.
Until this documentation is submitted, admission to the degree program remains conditional (con riserva). Conditionally admitted students who fail to submit the documentation before the start of the academic year may attend teaching activities but cannot take exams. The condition will be lifted only upon receipt of the documentation.
If verification reveals non-compliance with minimum admission requirements under current regulations, the University will cancel enrollment, retaining all tuition fees paid, which will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Regarding simultaneous enrollment in multiple degree programs, reference is made to Law no. 33/2022 and Ministerial Decrees no. 930 of July 29, 2022, and no. 933 of August 2, 2022.
Candidates who do not comply with the deadlines set out in this article will be considered to have withdrawn and will lose their right to enroll. In such cases, paid fees will not be refunded by the University.
The University reserves the right to publish further calls to cover places that remain vacant at the end of enrollment and ranking update procedures, or due to study abandonments, until all available places are filled.
Art. 13
Additional Educational Obligations (OFA)
Students enrolled in the Single-Cycle Master's Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery who have not answered correctly at least 60% of the biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics questions in the admission test may be assigned Additional Educational Obligations (OFA) limited to the subject area concerned. In such cases, students are required to attend a specific training course to fulfill OFAs before taking the corresponding exam in the study plan, and in any case within the first year of study. Fulfillment of OFAs will be verified by the course professors.
Art. 14
Withdrawal, Transfer, and Abandonment of Studies
If enrollment was completed remotely or outside University premises and requirements under distance contract regulations apply, the student may exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 (fourteen) days from contract conclusion. The decision to withdraw must be communicated to UniNeuromed via Certified Email (PEC) or via the dedicated online function provided by the University.
In case of exercising this right of withdrawal, UniNeuromed will refund enrollment costs within 14 days, using the same payment method used for the initial transaction, unless a different method is expressly indicated. Refunds do not apply to amounts paid for revenue stamps or regional tax. Amounts non-refundable by law or transferred to third parties and unrecoverable by the University are excluded.
Exercising the right of withdrawal is equivalent to submitting a formal application for withdrawal from studies.
Students who wish to withdraw from studies after enrollment must submit an "Application for Withdrawal from Studies" (domanda di rinuncia agli studi) using the online procedure on the GOMP portal: enter the reserved area and go to "Academic Records > Requests > Application to Withdraw from Studies".
Simply stopping attendance at lectures or career actions does not constitute withdrawal from studies and does not close the academic career. The student remains obligated to pay fees due for the academic year in accordance with Student Tuition Regulations available at: www.unineuromed.it/.
Art. 15
Mandatory Vaccinations
Enrolled students in the Single-Cycle Master's Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery (LM-41) are required to declare their commitment to undergo the following within 30 days of enrollment:
Tuberculin skin test performed according to the Mantoux technique, pursuant to guidelines for tuberculosis control (Conferenza Stato Regioni resolution of Dec 17, 1998) and D.P.R. Nov 7, 2001 no. 465, or via Quantiferon test;
Vaccination against Hepatitis B, pursuant to Law no. 165 of May 27, 1991.
Students must also declare their commitment to undergo any other available vaccination required by law or deemed appropriate by the University for safety during academic activities.
Failure to produce health documentation within the deadline will result in a suspension of academic activities. If documentation is not received by the deadline of December 31, 2026, the student will be declared forfeited (decaduto) without right to any refund.
Art. 16
Processing of Personal Data
Pursuant to Arts. 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), personal data provided by candidates is processed to evaluate test scores, manage selection procedures, handle potential enrollment, and for statistical, study, and scientific research purposes.
Data is processed electronically by UniNeuromed. Providing requested data is mandatory; failure to do so results in exclusion from the selection process.
The Data Controller is UniNeuromed - Neuromed Mediterranean University of Sciences and Technologies, legal headquarters in Via dell'Elettronica, 1 - 86077 Pozzilli (IS).
Pursuant to Art. 37 of the GDPR, the Data Protection Officer (DPO) can be contacted at: dpo@unineuromed.it.

Art. 17

The Manager of the procedure set forth in this call is Eng. Massimo Pillarella. This call is published on the University website at www.unineuromed.it/, serving as official notification to all interested parties for all legal purposes.
All communications and updates will be published on the official site, which represents the sole official communication channel. Candidates are responsible for constantly monitoring the website. The University disclaims liability arising from failure to check published updates.
Art. 18

The University reserves the right, at any stage—including after enrollment—to verify the truthfulness of the declarations made by the candidate, pursuant to current applicable regulations. The candidate is therefore required to provide all elements necessary to enable the appropriate checks.
In the event of untruthful declarations, without prejudice to the sanctions provided by the penal code and special laws on the matter, as well as the declarant's exposure to legal action for damages by interested third parties, the University will proceed with the cancellation of any enrollment, the recovery of any benefits granted, and the retention of tuition fees and university contributions paid, which will not be refunded under any circumstances.
The University reserves the right to modify, for organizational reasons and/or public health security needs, the location of internships (both within and outside the region) and the delivery methods of courses: the aforementioned changes will be made known to interested parties through the prompt publication of notices on the University website.
