Admission requirements
Admission requirements are defined in the call for applications for each course. Select the course to view the requirements that apply to you.
Admission requirements for the Master’s Degree Programme in Cognitive Sciences and Mind Studies (LM-55)
A three-year Bachelor’s degree in one of the following degree classes:
- L-20 (Communication Sciences),
- L-24 (Psychological Sciences and Techniques),
- L-31 (Computer Science and Technology),
- L-19 (Education and Training Sciences),
- or in one of the degree classes for healthcare professions (L/SNT/1, L/SNT/2, L/SNT/3 or L/SNT/4).
- Alternatively, a foreign qualification recognised as equivalent.
- Applicants holding a degree in a class other than those listed above must have earned at least 54 CFU (university credits) in subject areas relevant to the LM-55 degree class.
Applicants must meet the curricular requirements before their individual preparation can be assessed. Additional learning requirements may not be assigned to students enrolling in a Master’s degree programme.
Open-enrolment programme: no admission test is required. Applicants must hold an upper secondary school leaving certificate or a foreign qualification recognised as equivalent under current legislation.

Enrolment
Enrolment is the process through which registration becomes effective. Online enrolment is available for the Master’s Degree Programme in Cognitive Sciences and Mind Studies.
International students
Students with qualifications obtained abroad must follow a specific procedure.
- Verification of the qualification’s eligibility in accordance with current regulations governing access to university courses.
- Translated and legalised documentation, or a certificate of equivalence issued by the relevant authorities.
- Applicants may be required to demonstrate proficiency in the language in which the programme is taught.
- For non-EU citizens residing abroad: pre-enrolment procedure and application for a student visa.
Plan ahead
Qualification recognition, translations and consular procedures take weeks. Contact the International Relations Office as soon as you are considering applying, without waiting for the call for applications to be published.
