Call for Applications for Teaching Positions and Curricular Instructional Activities through Private-Law Contracts for Remuneration Pursuant to Article 23, Paragraph 2, of Law 240/2010 – Academic Year 2026/2027 – Bachelor’s Degree Program in Materials Science and Master’s Degree Program in Cognitive Science and Mind Studies – Pozzilli (IS) Campus.

Art. 1 – Teaching activities covered by this notice
A public selection process based on qualifications is hereby announced for the assignment of teaching positions in the Bachelor’s Degree Programs in Materials Science and Cognitive Science and Mind Studies for the 2026/2027 academic year. The courses pertain to the scientific disciplines of Physical Chemistry, Metallurgy, and Psychiatry. Teaching activities will take place exclusively in person.
Art. 2 – Eligibility Requirements
Eligible applicants include university professors and researchers, scholars, and experts with proven scientific or professional qualifications, as well as professionals from affiliated public or private institutions. Candidates must possess expertise relevant to the teaching position. Preference will be given to applicants holding a Ph.D., a medical specialty, National Scientific Qualification, or equivalent foreign qualifications.
Art. 3 – Application Procedures and Deadlines
Applications must be submitted exclusively via certified email (PEC) to the University’s address within 15 days of the publication of this notice. The application must include the required information and attachments (resume, identification document, credentials, and any publications). Declarations are made in accordance with Presidential Decree 445/2000, and the University may verify their accuracy. Applicants who are related by blood or marriage up to the fourth degree to academic bodies or individuals involved in the procedure are excluded.
Art. 4 – Selection Committee and Evaluation Criteria
The Selection Committee, appointed by Rector’s Decree and composed of three experts, evaluates solely the qualifications and résumés of the candidates. The evaluation criteria include scientific and professional qualifications, the alignment of the candidate’s profile with the course, teaching experience, scholarly output, professional activities, and the quality of documented teaching experience. At the conclusion of the process, a ranking list is drawn up for each course.
Art. 5 – Appointment and Contract Execution
The appointment is made by Rector’s Decree based on the ranking. In the event of a candidate’s withdrawal, the University may move down the ranking or publish a new call for applications. The relationship is governed by a written contract under private law. For public employees, prior authorization from their employing agency is required. The contract does not establish an employment relationship nor does it confer the right to access university faculty positions.
Art. 6 – Duration and Compensation
Teaching activities take place according to the official academic calendar. Compensation is set at €1,000.00 gross for each credit hour taught and includes all activities related to teaching, including lesson preparation, student office hours, teaching assistance, and assessment of learning. Tax and social security matters are governed by current legislation.
Art. 7 – Rights and Duties of Adjunct Faculty
Adjunct faculty members must fully carry out the assigned duties, adhere to the academic calendar, participate in exams, use the University’s teaching resources, assist with student orientation and support, maintain activity logs, and contribute to teaching quality assurance processes. Signing the contract implies acceptance of the applicable university regulations.
Art. 8 – Payment of compensation
Compensation is normally paid in a single installment after verification of the proper performance of teaching activities and the required documentation, including class registers. Payment is authorized by the Dean following verification of the fulfillment of contractual obligations.
Art. 9 – Publication of documents and safeguard clauses
The notice, the composition of the Committee, and the results of the selection process are published on the University’s official website, which serves as official notification. The University reserves the right to modify, suspend, extend, or revoke the procedure for organizational, educational, regulatory, or financial reasons, without this giving rise to any rights or claims on the part of the candidates.
Art. 10 – Processing of Personal Data
Candidates’ personal data is processed by UNINEUROMED exclusively for purposes related to the management of the selection process, in compliance with the GDPR and applicable national laws. Candidates may exercise the rights provided for in Articles 12–23 of EU Regulation 2016/679.
