Art. 2 - Eligibility Requirements
Italian and foreign candidates are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following requirements:
a) having obtained the National Scientific Qualification, pursuant to art. 16 of Law No. 240/2010, for the competitive sector indicated in the call, for the professorial level covered by this procedure;
b) having obtained academic eligibility pursuant to Law No. 210 of 03/07/1998, for the level corresponding to that for which the call is issued, within the period of validity of such eligibility and in a scientific disciplinary sector falling within the competitive sector covered by the call;
c) Professors already in service at the corresponding level for which the selection is announced and in a scientific disciplinary sector falling within the competitive sector covered by the call;
d) scholars permanently engaged abroad in research or teaching activities at university level in a position equivalent to that covered by the call, based on correspondence tables, updated every three years, defined by the Minister after consulting the CUN.
Candidates who, at the time of application, have a degree of kinship or affinity up to and including the fourth degree with the individuals referred to in art. 18, paragraph 1, letter c) of Law 240/2010 are not eligible to participate.
The eligibility requirements must be met by the application deadline.
Exclusion from the procedure is ordered by a reasoned Rectoral Decree and notified to the person concerned.
Art. 3 - Application Procedures and Deadlines
The application form, available on the institutional website www.unineuromed.it, must be submitted to the following certified email address (PEC): unineuromed@legalmail.it
The application and all its attachments must be declared by the candidate pursuant to articles 46 and 47 of Presidential Decree No. 445 of 28.12.2000, duly signed with a handwritten or certified electronic signature. For information on electronic signatures, please consult the dedicated page of the Agency for Digital Italy (AGID): https://www.agid.gov.it/it/piattaforme/firma-elettronica-qualificata.
The application must be submitted, under penalty of exclusion, within the strict deadline of 15 (fifteen) days, starting from the day following the publication of this call as a notice in the Official Gazette of the Italian Republic – 4th Special Series – Competitions and Examinations. The date of submission is certified by the date of receipt of the PEC. The deadline for submission will expire at 11:59 PM on the last eligible day (Italian time).
No other method of submission is accepted, under penalty of exclusion. The application must be completed in all its parts. No additions or modifications to the application are permitted after the deadline.
Qualifications and publications must be held by the application deadline. No additions of any kind will be accepted after the deadline.
The application must include complete personal details, namely: first name, last name, gender, place and date of birth, citizenship, tax identification code (not mandatory for foreign nationals), full residential and domicile address (if different from residence) including postal code, telephone number, standard email address, certified email address (PEC) chosen for communications related to this selection procedure (to serve as digital domicile pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 82/2005). Any communications related to this procedure will be sent to the PEC address provided. Any changes to the residential and/or domicile address, telephone number, or standard and/or certified email addresses mentioned above, as well as any withdrawal from the selection, must be promptly communicated via the PEC address indicated in the application. The communication, dated and signed, must be addressed to the Rector and sent, together with a copy of a valid identity document, to the PEC address unineuromed@legalmail.it
The candidate must attach to the application:
a) curriculum of their scientific and teaching activities, in PDF format;
b) copy of a valid personal identity document;
c) copy of the tax identification code;
d) complete list of publications, in PDF format;
e) list of submitted publications, in PDF format;
f) scientific publications, up to the maximum number provided for in the call, in PDF format.
For evaluation purposes, only publications or texts accepted for publication in accordance with current regulations are considered, as well as essays included in collective works and articles published in journals in print or digital format, excluding internal notes or departmental reports that lack an ISSN or ISBN. Doctoral theses or those relating to equivalent qualifications are evaluated even in the absence of the conditions referred to in this paragraph.
For publications produced wholly or partially in Italy, the obligations set out in Law No. 106 of 15 April 2004 and the related Regulation issued by Presidential Decree No. 252 of 3 May 2006 must be fulfilled. For works produced abroad, the date and place of publication must be indicated. It is therefore necessary, under penalty of the Committee's inability to evaluate individual publications, to explicitly indicate the ISSN/ISBN/ISMN code of each publication, unless it is already present in the header/text of the publication itself.
Reference to qualifications and publications submitted to this Administration or to documents attached to an application for another selection procedure is not permitted.
Publications not attached to the application will not be evaluated by the committee. Lists with links to texts are not accepted as substitutes for publications.
Should the number of submitted publications exceed the maximum provided for in art. 1 of this call, the Committee will exclude the least recent ones until the required number is reached.
The Administration reserves the right to carry out appropriate checks on the truthfulness of the content of substitute declarations.
At the Administration's request, the candidate must provide appropriate documentation supporting declarations referring to qualifications, activities and contracts with foreign institutions.
Candidates who make false declarations are subject to the penalties provided for by the Criminal Code and special laws on the matter (art. 76 of Presidential Decree No. 445 of 28.12.2000).
The candidate forfeits any benefits arising from the measure issued on the basis of a false declaration, should the Administration's verification reveal that the content of the declaration is untrue (arts. 71 and 75 of Presidential Decree No. 445 of 28.12.2000).
Non-EU citizens residing in Italy may use self-certification only in cases where it concerns states, facts and personal qualities that can be certified or attested by Italian public or private bodies. In all other cases, they must submit a curriculum, a list of publications, and documents and qualifications in original or authenticated copy, legalised by the competent Italian consular authorities and accompanied by a certified Italian translation conforming to the foreign text, drawn up by the same consular authorities or by an official translator.
Foreign candidates must declare, under their own responsibility, under penalty of exclusion, that they have an adequate knowledge of the Italian language.
